Default 1984 reissue

Came today, I was a bit surprised because all there was to order was the white and red bullseye. Here is what I got.

The case is one of the good ones too, the blem is a little touch up around the pickup route.
I'm very pleased with it.

That is so weird! I thought mine was going to be black and red and it showed up white and red. It was waitin' when I got home.

I do have to admit that I can play this little booger. What's real weird is the pup through this little 65w valvestate. I'm gettin' everything I could want for sound and if you crank it back to 3-4 it gets a real nice bridgey type blues honk. People talkin' that it's muddy down low and it sweaks on the top and all I hear is every string and a nice crunch. Maybe my amp is getting ready to fry.....

Need to pull it out and run it with the band. That's the test. If all these harmonics and the pinches are here for jam day then we've got a new/alt sound for some of our material. The runs are fast

Sisters- I always got the funny lookin one with the great ass- the trend continues

Bruce, the white is the same white that is on the side of your upper horn in your picture. The flash and you know what - I like the black hardware better than the chrome on these black bullseyes.
RSB, man I hear what you are saying about the tones, I had to get my old black 1984 - a 2002 model - out and see if it was the same, it wasn't and I didn't think it would be. This has better sounds than the Baretta reissue I just got.
I'm running a XXX combo and it has never sounded better.

Jon

Hey Jon, open up the elect and tell me what is different from the old to the new. I want that mod! I hate the muddy sound when I back off the vol on mine!

I'm glad to hear that because I was thinkin' that Mike had them send me a ringer. And I was thinkin' I'm going nuts or something because the reviews I heard on this pickup were 'mixed' to say the least. It's hot as shit!

I just pulled a couple of floor model processors out and EVERYTHING sounds better with this pup. It's (hard to say it) extraordinary! Tone, sustain, harmonics, definition, voice- I was playing and in the back of my mind I was thinkin' "I wonder if they sell these hummers separately". I have a lot of gear and a lot of pup options and this thing is different (better) enough that it has my attention. It makes the axe play better because so much is there. I'm sounding like produced finished product coming out of a 12 year old GoldBack.

That freakin' Proaxe that's comin' my way better jam like a MF'r 'cuz this one is just FUN TO PLAY!

Peace, RSB

A left handed, maple boarded, hockey-stick headed, skunk-striped Kramer neck.
