Default Kramer Striker 600st?

OK Im still waiting on my kramer to get delivered from the US (bloody paypal takes forever to clear money)

I've found someone here in the land of oz with a Kramer Striker 600st. not sure how much he wants for it yet.

SO...what are the 600st like? I'm not sure if its a musicYo or not.

Is it any better then the Kramer Striker FR400S i just bought?

They are not too bad, plywood body and FR2 trem. Probably a 100 dollar guitar here in the US.

I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible,
but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

Striker 100/200/300/400/500/600/ect are vintage Kramers not Musicyos.
The Striker 600 [ST600 / 600ST] ran from 1986 to 1989
If it has 3 on/off switches it is an 86
If it doesn't have 3 on/off switches and has a NON recessed floyd it is an 87
If it has a recessed floyd II it is a 88 or 89

They are Korean plywood bodies and you either Love them or Hate them.

And yes, it is better then a newer musicyo IMO
Quick way to tell if its a musicyo are the quadrail pickups and the
"made to rock" neck plate.

Strikers run between 100-200 ebay US

IMO the YO Strikers are a better instrument. The MIK Strikers played and had the bits and pieces but they were lacking in electronics, body wood specs and I am not a fan of FRIIs.

Both are starter guitars IMO, for someone with the intention of learning shred style. Go for an older Focus or a YO 84 if ya want a non-american logoed kramer and a go-to players axe
