Default Jackson DKMGT (Pix Heavy)

Scored another J/C...to use as an every day player.
The Model 88 is a bit too "nice to bang on every day, plus I wanted something 24 fret, floyd not necessary. She's a 2001, I have an EMG 85 in the bridge. It came with an Evans Hot Lead, but I haven't tried that one yet. Anyone know anything about the Evans? (Not stock, it came originally with HZ's)

Anyways, the neck is thin like the Charvie, and I love the arch top, and the sound is great. Basswood body wiyh maple cap.

Thanks, it's hard to choose between this and the bich, now. Extra frettage helps.

I only have eight guitars now, and choices are starting to get difficult.
A good problem to have.

For a moment, I thought you got it in CBS finish (only avail on the trem version) til I realised it was actually a reflection! D'oh.. Still a nice score though.

Hey, wil, good to see you here!
No, it's gloss black. And a very nice finish!
I'm still playing with pickups. The Evans is out, the EMG 85 went back into the Model 88, I put a J90C Jackson it this DK, and a good freind gave me a POS Jackson logoed pup for the neck. It's droolworthy as far as playability, but I can't stop myself from playing with the pups.

Truth is, I really don't want the EMG 85 in for the everyday player. I want a good sounding passive. And that Evans tests good, but sounds weak.
