Default rg350ex wiring info

so i bought 3 new pickups.
neck seymour duncan full shred humbucker
middle saymour duncan hot rail
bridge saymour duncan is a 59 trembucked humbucker
brought into a shop and had them perform the wire job.
he installed all 3 and also installed 2 2way switches.
this guitar has the original 5 way switch.the 2 switches installed seem
to boost the sound.1 switch for the 2 upper positions of the 5 way.
1 switch for the lower positions.the middle position for the hot rail has a mass volume drop.when i put in the middle position i have to turn my guitar all the way up,and my amp all the way up.when all turned up i can barely hear the thing.he says it is my 5 way switch that is bad, then wy would it work at all.
and suggestions or a way to rewire system, mods would be appreciated.
thank you.

not 100% sure but sounds like your pick up is out of phase...?
SOmetimes flipping the pick up or reverse the wires work...
Normally the black is hot and green goes to ground flipping to black ground and green hot...
I work better when its in front of me

I ain't no Einstein but could the 2 switches be for coil tapping the neck and bridge humbuckers?

All the wiring information you should ever need is here:

Maybe you should ask him what he did - then you can tell us and we'll know what you're talking about.

sounds like the pickups are too hot in the neck and middle position... those should be mediom output, no?... could be wrong but i think that's it...

I think your on to something there I4Y...I was wondering about the pickup choices and their static output too.

Considering ec-29 bought new pickups the DC resistance (from the Duncan website) for them is:

Bridge: 8.13 k for a SH-1 bridge - (7.43 k if a neck model)
Middle: 10.8 k for a SHR-1 neck - (16.9 k if a bridge model)
Neck: 7.4 k for a SH-10 neck - (14.6 k if a bridge model)

I know this is only one variable but simply by those numbers the middle pup should be killing the others...unless the pups are not made for the position their installed in.

I have another question: If I'm a guitar tech, and I'm wiring someones axe with new pups, and I know the $7 five way switch is bad, wouldn't I be SMART to change the bad switch before I solder it all up and send it home?
