Take a look at how they recessed the rings and the bridge.

There is a Phillips head looking thing at the back that you push down to release the bridge.

Then you are free to either just change the strings or simply lift it off the ball end posts.

Upside down next to the guitat.

The screws on the end adjust the strings like tuners would.

You can see the screws on the top and the fine tuners. Those screws adjust the saddle height.
And back together and still in tune!

The fixed bridge Seattle

Thanks to Jonfor helping me figger out that "S" stood for Special Shred Single!

Behold a 2004 NOS Floyd Rose Redmond Model S

Without a doubt the lowest action I have ever experienced on a guitar...actually too low for my tastes
The Q-Ball Special.

This was Floyd's answer to the RR style V guitar. It just popped up on the bay one day, I ignored it until Q pointed out to me what it was.
I grabbed it and I think I posted a thread then but couldn't find it now.
This guitar hung in the office of Floyd Rose Guitars until they closed, from what I can find out there might be one more or this is the only one.
Ebony finger board and probably swamp ash body - it has the hottest pickups they offered..sweet.

With the small cutout on the lower horn this is actually a RR style V that will stay on your leg playing sitting down.

The Seattle more of Q's

Floyd Rose recently sold his guitar company to another music instrument group. The Floyd Rose warehouses were being cleaned out by the new owner and all remaining stock was being sold. One large box on top of the pallet rack contained approximately 25 Seattle Series guitars and some very interesting prototypes. I managed to snag two of the Seattle’s and turned Jon onto another (that has a rare unreleased and patented bridge).

I can find no dealer information on them after checking with all the “should know” places; but the Seattle has some interesting details: 24.75 scale w/22 frets, arched top (not like a Les Paul but a gradual rise from edge to edge), recessed pickup switch, and a recessed and hidden output jack. The Speedloader and green signature pickups are the same ones available in the Redmond and V24 Arrow.

YEAH BABY! Its the Ying and the Yang.

Anyone remember the Kramer magazine ads from the late 70's where the aluminum neck model was in flight right at you? This is an update on that thought, except now it's a V24 cruise missle.

Talking as Flipper used to say.."incoming"

Got this off the bay after the seller listed it 3 times and no one bit...he was wanting way too much money. After no action he was willing to listen to reason.

A Floyd Rose Seattle with the SpeedLoader bridge...the seller said it was touched by some rock stars he wasn't at liberty to name...
