Default USA Custom Snake

With a big assist from Metalgod I just got this one in today. This isn't the same guitar he got recently however. Unlike the JEM I got in yesterday this one doesn't need to go to the tech's.

I really love the fact that this one has a vintage Bartolini active pup. I live next town over from Pedulla guitars. While they started out making basses and have made just basses for the last 20 years or so, they made some really sweet guitars during the early to mid 80's. I had the opportunity to play a couple with Bartolinis, and I've been dying to get my hands on an axe with them in it ever since. These are really high powered, but also very articulate at the same time.

This one has a few dings and doinks, but then again so do I. I'm really digging this one.......all the way down to the Joel approved Nobease Knobs!!

Thanks KD, if it had a Bartolini it must of been the same one. Well with the economy being what it is, I got this one for less than half of what that other dude was trying to get for it.

Not that great trying to sell something nowadays, but there's alot of great deals out there right now.

Excellent score, Roger!
Those are the ones I love to see.
A DIFFERENT IBANEZ.

Dings create character & mojo.

I'm beginning to think that
part of it has to do with location.

There's a USA custom for sake here in Pittsburgh almost identical except it is a hum single single. It's real nice. It was between that or the leopoard graphic. I chose the leopoard. Wish I'd have bought neither. Lol

Eric.

Haha....I hear ya man, that leopard one you have is badass. I'm in serious sell mode right now. If not, I'd make a run at that one.

Yep, JC Guitars in Algonquin, IL has this identical one in mint condition. I was just there a few days ago. They want $2,000 for it. If I was rich I would of snatched it up in a heartbeat.

That has to be the coolest Ibby I've EVER seen dude. ESPECIALLY with that pickup in it. But I do have to ask... whats the second pot for? Don't tell me it has a tone knob??

Dude you gotta get some recordings of that. I'd love to hear the Bart pickup in action. Always wanted one but was worried it wouldn't be what I wanted when it got here, and they're a bit pricey!
