I always liked that Black Dog JS,
but I don't want one painted up like it.

I do like the SWTA JS,
but I like the painted version better.
I wouldn't buy it, though.

I saw that!

I like the painted SWTA,
not the one with the cheesy cake topper on it.

And, if I really wanted a Black Dog replica,
i'd go get a black JS, and a silver and purple paint pens.

Go try a Japanese JS model,
not the Korean one. They're nice guitars.

A lot of people rag on the Korean models,
but the one they had at one of the local stores
was a good, solid guitar.

For me Ibanez is a definite love/hate thing. I love all the old stuff....including the stuff from the 70's. But the direction they're going in now really pisses me off. Don't get me wrong.....I love the 770DX's and the other axes shown here look nice, but $1,700+ for the 770DX.....and a "limited edition" to boot? Come the fuck on.....if these fools made that a full production run reissue and listed them at $999 or so, they couldn't make em fast enough.

I like the looks of the Iceman......probably the only Iceman that interested me in the least. Wonder if it's MIJ or MIK........Still not enough for me to feel good about what they're doing though. I've said it before.......they gotta open up their 1992 catalog and mass produce everything in it.

For one, I bought a used Laser Blue 770dx for $300 back in '96. Stupidly I let that one go early, but the point is I'm not gonna pay almost 5x that much to get the fucker back. I'm actually surprised at that tag, although it will be relatively cheaper in the buyer's market. Limited supply obviously will keep those prices jacked up though. As far as the Satch models....DAMN!!! That's impressive. So are the prices. Ibby kinda went "Gibby", and they can all go to hell.
