Wow that was a couple years ago Jon , Ok what do you want How she holding up , Rob it Depends on the wood , Grain and End Result i want to achieve. For the Old Kramer Trans Finishes I use House of Color Candies or any candy for that matter. And you apply it Right over the Seald wood

That will produce a OEM Kramer Trans Finish Garunteed and Usally works real good on tight grain Wood such as Poplar,Maple & Alder. For the Flame Curly stuff and Ash, I use Anylin Achohal Dyes mixed w/ Denataured Achohal, Or I sometimes add it to the clear. you can also add Colorants to clear to make your own Color. and Depending how deep you want to go, I usally go straight on bare wood or seal it first, just depends on the wood and end effect if that helps. But Trans/Dyed Finishes are a different technique & aproach than regular colors

The stand is a Hamilton Bob, I got it with a guitar but I've seen them for sale on line.
Just had to give you another shoutout Vman.
