Default My new Ibanez

Got this a couple of weeks ago for my studio.

It an Ibanez GIO GSA 60,basswood body in trans black and a blocked sat 10 tremolo(looks like a wilkinson copy). This guitar sounds quite okay.

What body style is that? At first I thought it was a saber...but I don't see the jack for it.

I like that body shape
better than the RGs.

They used to have one like
that a couple of years ago
in natural finish, at one of the local stores,
but it had a regular trem.

Great bang for the buck guitar.

Very cool guitar dude!
I have a SA220QM Mahogany body maple top and same bridge.
Body is slightly arched
Very comfortable guitar

That thing sure is black!!

Nice axe, though, dude. I had a 7 string S-series, that had a very similar body to that.

How do you like that trem? I had a guitar for a short while with a Wilkinson on it, and I just did not like it at all. I've been playing Floyds for far too long to be able to adjust to the Wilkinson.

Thanks for the comments guys
I got it for USD165 which is not that expensive. It's like a saber/js shape with rounded edges. The workmanship is a little on the rough side. The frets are not really smooth and needs a good polish, the fingerboard looks so-so but very playable.
I really need to change the nut and string tree before I can use the trem. There's a lot of string binding near the headstock area.
Overall, this guitar needs to be set up properly to make it playable.
This guitar sounds like any other basswood guitar and the finishing on the body is very good and the satin finish on the neck is awesome
