I had to figure out something as the neck had a Floyd shelf. The roller nut is a top mount just like a Floyd nut so it worked.
I used it out of necessity no other reason. I just hope the strings will stay on with hard use.

Word.
I think it's silly that companies put a string retainer on an angled headstock. If you pop the strings out of the slot on an angled headstock, you are playing too hard.

yup not a fan of them
looks nice and clean with out it. THats is a nice way of dealing with a floyd shelf
