Default Peavey Triumph-All Tube Flea Market Score

60 watt combo with a 12" Scorpion.
(4) preamp tubes, 2x6L6GC's.

The guy had it on the table with a Squier listed at $150 for both.
The guitar didn't do much for me.

We mixed it up a little and I got this great amp cheap.

It needs at least new tubes but it powers up and makes noise...and
that speaker looks good to my ear.

Those old Peavey's are made mill spec, it'll work with tubes and sound just like a Peavey.
I picked up an old half stack for nothing a while back, heavier than hell but works great. My 4X12 is loaded with Scorpions too - again bullet proof.

My standby workhorse is a Peavey 5150 slant cab.
Sheffields throughout.
I tried greenbacks for about a month and switched back.
Wired for stereo 8 ohm or mono four ohm.

Can't wait to get this into proper shape and try it through that cab.

No pics, probably won't post them.
Not much to see except what anyone would find on a quick search.
Peavey sent a schematic for the foot switch gratis, cool.

Bruno I'm not 100% sure everything is up to par on this amp.
I thought I saw a set of Scorpions on CL not too long ago, you ought to check every once in a while...I should have given you a shout.

Peavey was kind enough to send the foot switch schem, once I build that I will have a much better idea of the true condition of this amp.

BTW, there was this laid off dude that had a wandering eye that said you taught him how to do piping...I didn't inquire too much.
