Default Wiring diagrams

I have a knack for wiring up things and I was playing a Washburn with their new VCC controls. So I opened up the cavity and spocked it out. Very simple idea. They are using a stacked pot to blend coils in the Humbucker. I thought I would post a diagram in case you tone guys want to try something different.

Ya Jerry, your diagrams are definitely the bomb. Thanks for doing them for us "lesser" beings who shouldn't be trusted with such things!

Speaking of which, do you have a Nightswan diagram by chance? I'm damn close to loading mine up with electronics and will need a good diagram.... and I know you are the man when it comes to that.

Shit, maybe we could setup a section of the site just for your diagrams and wiring tips... could call it Jerry's Corner or something LOL

Jerry,
OK since we're showing off our wiring skills can you sketch this up for me?
I've got a 2 humbucker setup, tone zone in the bridge and Fred in the neck with a les paul type 3 way switch, one volume and one tone and all I want to do is split the neck pick upwith a push pull pot and leave the bridge full humbucking. Any ideas smartypants? :icon_smil

It always helps to have a diagram expert in the house!

This forum is becoming like a great AD&D party: You need two warrior/tanks, a thief, a magic user, and something like a Paldin to give it moral fiber! LOL

Default Need Help with a wiring guide for a beginner project

I have a guitar that I am building. I went with one humbucker at the bridge and one tele style pickup at the neck. I was planning on using a DPDT switch for this. I am not quite sure how to do this ... as I am not using volume or tone controls because I always hit them while playing making the volume turn down so I am leaving these off. Can anybody put up a quick diagram for me? This is my first build. I have one telestyle pickup at the neck position and one humbucker at the bridge. I was just going to do the setup ... pickup 1 ... pickup 1 and 2 ... pickup 2 ... if anyone could help this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
J

I do not know if I mentioned this before but Jerry has the best wiring diagrams around. Could I make a suggestion to the admins ? It would be cool to "sticky" all these wiring diagrams in the guitar tech section here so we can refer back to it often without having to go through the searches.
