Default KNE Bodies

How does KNE compare to Warmoth, Musikraft, and Mighty Mite?

The reason I ask is because I have never heard anything bad about KNE and their prices are great.

That is pretty much it, nothing bad and great bang for the buck.

+1 I've gotten two of them and no problems at all. Highly recommended.

Cool. Too bad they don't sell necks yet. I am thinking about building a baritone.

They do sell necks for $175 each. But Mitch still has not posted pics on the website. You will have to email him for some pics. I think right now there is only 3 options with more to come in the future. Right now they are all mapleboard necks with your choice of Strathead, Ibanez style head and Kramer Banana head style. No pointies just yet.

KNE makes a Firebird body ? I have not seen any on the website. Must be a custom order because the NRFB model is not even close to a Firebird body.

Yes, Rick you must post some pics of that project. A Robbin Crosby paintjob perhaps ?

Nope, that is why I never got it. I wanted to do a dragon graphics one like Robbin Crosby had but the body shape is different. Here are some links for comparison. The outside shape is different.

I would imagine tilted...you would have to ask Mitch on that one. Not sure if I still kept a pic that he emailed me.

I would like to know this as well. "Great for the money," is a little ambiguous.

That body he has looks weird to me.

Robbin's dragon guitar looked like a regular
firebird, just flipped backwards.
