Default Ebay snag - Dean Z w/ hsc

Hit the button on a nice Dean Z w/ a coffin case - $137 shipped !

Cool thing is, it's one of the Czech republic builds, and they only made them in that plant for roughly 2yrs. (1998 -2000) Everything I've heard is that they built some damn decent guitars in that factory, and they far outshine the Korean crap, and fit and finish is on par with the USA Deans. We'll see when it gets here, but for now..... an ebay pic.

Real good price!
I know a guy that has one of the Czech Les Paul style Deans.
He seems to like it pretty good, and he's got some high dollar lumber, including one of those infamous 59 burst les pauls (NOT a reissue, the real deal).

Got it, went through it, cleaned up real good. Structurally sound, but the electronics seem to be flaky. Neck pup is toast, no output, reads like 1.6k. And it seems to be microphonic (?) if thats the right word. Bridge is fine, with some decent crunch.

Figure I can sell it to someone that wants a good player / project guitar. I don't really like the body, just doesn't fit well.

I guess they hooked up with a bad Koren MFg, Dean that is, as my Early Koren ESP LTDs are right on par with my Japan ESP's.
