Default Gary Kramer illusionist

you guys see these? they look pretty sweet.

http://www.garykramerguitar.com/magma.html

The pickguard is carved straight into the wood (not sure if I like that though...), HSS config, recessed floyd, maple boards. Looks pretty nice for $799

I see the "Custom" models aren't on the site anymore, that's a shame I liked those just never had the cash available and too many alternatives... oh well.

I wish I could combine a few features from the RR2 and the Illusionist, then I'd be really interested. Like a RR with a regular metallic painjob and maple fretboard... then we'd be talking

Yeah I can handle the headstock but it would be WAY cooler if they just used the same pointy-droopy Kramer headstock that's on the russian roulettes.

The white and the blue look good, but the orange is kinda fugly. Still can't decide if I like the carved in pickguard, looks good from a distance but kinda defeats the purpose of a pickguard if I'm afraid to scratch it the whole time I'm playing...

The Silver/Black one is dropdead gorgeous though, man I am kinda gaining some gas for this.
Wish it had tone controls though, I know most of you guys don't use them but I'm turning my tone knobs just as often as volume (sometimes more often) so I've grown a little dependant on them, especially with single coils in H/S/S configs like this one. Probably wouldn't use it as much in an H/H like the RR
