Ya Baby, maple gives me wood! What you got in mind for the pickups? I just never have found a single coil I really like yet.

For the Humbucker, I'm thinking of a Seymour Duncan Custom or something (I'm looking for a High Output Pickup with a Nice Crunch & Sharp Sound). Not sure about single coils yet.

Right back to our - me and the Capt - favorite pickup, the DD. The pickup does not sound like it's name, give it a try if you can. Let me know if you find some good singles.

The first guitar I owned was a Squire Strat (which I still have) and I also have a Samick P-Bass.

The pictures don't actually do justice for the strat

Nice strat!

For single coils, either Texas Specials or Duncan Duckbuckers will get a SRV bluesy tone.
Duncan Screamin Demon in the bridge will get you loads of gain yet still be very articulate.

I think the screamin' demon is meant for maple bodied guitars and directly screwed into the body (as per brent). I always wanted to try a H/S/S strat...since I never use the bridge pickup on mine (way too thin with the lace sensors).

Red Lace Sensor ?

I've had a few strats with the Blue (neck), Silver (mid), Red (bridge) Lace sensor pickups. I really think this setup is versatile and sounds great.

Something about sunburst Strats makes me drool...I think it's because I love Eric Johnson's strat so much! Nice one, dude!!!

All are gold, which are the vintage ones I believe. They are also upside down, for what its worth. The neck pup is pure sex, I'll tell you that much.
