Default Randall RM20 Loud enough to jam ?

Hey does anyone gave any thoughts ob whether the randall rm20 is loud enough to jam with a drummer and possibly a whole band ? Mostly play metal so Its pretty loud but I am sick of having to take my big fullstack everywhere i go !

should be fine. back when I was 14 and 15 all I had was a 10 watt crate and that was fine with drums. But I guess it depends on the size of the room too?
this was a small place maybe 10x 15' room.

if that is what I'm thinking of, 15 watts of tube, yes you will have absoluetly no problem keeping up with the band.

I'm considering buying one of those Blackstar heads, 5 watts, and that would likely do in 90% of situations

Yep 5 tubey driven watts can do the job,thats for sure especially if you got some nice speaker to combine it.
Actually more Watts gives you more headroom,thats cool if you wanna strum clean chords but if you dont then you're gonna be ok with even a 5 watter valve amp.
