I got this on blu-ray yesterday, pretty damn good. A mix of old clips and the three guys together talking about it and playing their guitars.

52"....that's all?

Seriously you have a killer combo there man. Now you gotta test out a good Jeff Beck concert through that rig.

Man, I know. I'm looking for anything b-ray. I've got some regular DVD music videos which look good but damn on BR it is like sitting in the first row.
I was on amazon looking for the new Hendrex and saw the new Beck...almost pulled the trigger - that one click ordering is dangerous..

PICS!!! NOW Dammit!! thIS THREAD IS WORthless without....

I have a 57" Sony downstairs and a 52" that's way too big for my bedroom. I need to unload it and go with something more like a 32" in there. Blu Ray is the schizzy! Mine plays my netflix streaming shit even. Yes, I am a sony whore. You could scratch sony on teh side of a dog turd and I'd buy it. Bacon, or not.

I was disappointed by It Might Get Loud. It was a lot more like a generic retrospective of Led Zep, U2, and the White Stripes than about guitars as an instrument. To me it was billed as a movie about guitars. I was expecting more from the film.

It was interesting, but the producers could've done better with their musician choices.

If I didn't see Jimmy Page on the DVD, I would've passed.

Jimmy Page, it goes without saying. He is like a Godfather - you respect him no mater what.
Edge didn't do much for the movie.
I did get a new respect for Jack White, I never took him very seriously before but he's OK.

Doc, what do you mean that it wasn't about the guitar....Jimmy said it...it's the power the guitar has - especially with volume and lots of distortion. They all said it was the emotions the guitar can give.
