The TWINS !

The one with the grenn mirrored pick guard is the 1987 rg550 the all black is a 1998 rg550

its hard to say which one I like more ..... the 87 neck is INSANE...and sounds real hot...I forget what the green pick up is called, Steve Vai gave it to me in 1989 in Altlanta...... but the 98 feels great too, BOTH trems are still floating and stay in tune amazingly well !.

Got to love the rg550, best guitars I have ever owned.

Well you are going to have to do better with the pictures....it's tiny.. Can't see anything - bet the pickup is an Evo if Steve gave it to you.

Hey, If you get work in LV I just might drive there to see your show. The Capt of our ship lives there too so I'd have a floor to sleep on.

Yeah he's awesome dude. Out of all the casino execs I've worked with (used to work for corp MGM MIRAGE for years in the technology side of the house) he was by far the most REAL. They were all mostly assholes haha. Felix had my respect. Still does. He did only one thing I thought was out of taste, and that was him posing for photos atop 9/11 WTC wreckage. We were outside when the rolling memorial passed by back in 2002 and they had the steel pieces from one of the towers on a flatbed. He posed on TOP of them. Kinda didn't sit right with me at all. But aside from that LOL he was always totally cool with me.

I'm kinda in an out of Las Vegas. On the road alot. Sad I own this damn site and you are all on here more than I am hahaha. Sad sad sad

Definitely a PAF pro, if you're talking
about Dimarzios. I've wanted to try an
Air Norton as a neck pickup too.

Cool!
The pink probably fits with the character of the guitar.

Where did you grab that Jem neck from?

Or are those some decals off of ebay,
to make it look like a Jem neck?

I put some prismatic bird decal inlays
on a friend's PRS SE. They look great,
and they are on there good!
