NGD: Vandy Custom Quilt Top
Yep, after many years of wanting one I finally took the dive into the old bank account and bought one.
First impression is very nice. With the playabililty of the standard Vandenberg, but with a much clearer, fuller, sustainrich tone... The mahogany neck and body with the neck through does it's job here...

Yeah, Vandys are great, even the normal standard ones.
Now I need to slap on a fresh set of strings and adjust things a little bit. Maybe put on 500k pots instead of the standard 250's that's on there now. The pickups sounds ok, but I might put in something else later....
Anyway, great guitar!

Vandy's are amazing, like you said, even the "regular" ones smoke. Great line of guitars.
