Yes, they are fret markers from Japan... they are not plastic sticlers... hey are made from a different aterial, very strong.. almost like a thin aluminum or something.. they are GREAT ! dont even feel them there and they match the scheme of the guitar.... I love this neck plays sooooo fast n easy ! I started doing a couple string skipping things again jst because it feels soooo good !!!
I have a 98 rg550 too, leaving it all stock black, for now...... hmmm
