I hear that's fairly popular over at IUP.
RR enjoyed many years as THE beer around here, with Yuengling being the secret brew. Then the yuppies made RR their bottle choice as they were stepping up from whatever light beer they drank. RR was suddenly popular.

The real death of Rolling Rock happened when Anheuser-Busch bought the formula and brewing process in 2006. A-B then closed the small brewery in Latrobe PA. A-B moved RR brewing to new jersey (or some f ing place), changed it's ingredients and water, and bottled about 20 times what the small batch brewery did in Latrobe

DEATH OF A BEER

Now That InBev has bought Anheuser-Busch, they are thinking of discontinuing the Rolling Rock brand. Way to go ass holes!

Dang! Had no idea. I thought it was still brewed in Latrobe.
My wife's family lives up that way.

I MISS ALCOHOL!!!

But I still stand by Miller Genuine Draft. Used to chase shots of Jack with MGD before deployment. Plus, MGD is awesome with steak and pizza. Just my all around favorite beer.

Fun MGD fact: Miller tried to quit brewing it for a while and had to bring it back due to protests and huge drops in sales. Man cannot live by Lite alone, it seems.

btw, this is a regular baretta not a baretta ii as the seller described. Must have gotten confused by the fact that he has the wrong truss cover on that guitar. Sorry, for the thread hijack....back to talking beer.
