not bad for $179 , i can easily install a Floyd rose special with a lil mod only is the vintage trem is routed out with claw & springs other wise , it would be a paint in the but to mod ..

and slice a nut shelf with th ol router , turn this into a shredder !:thumbs:
its a solid mohagony body .. it should sound good ..

A router to cut the nut shelf ? Not seen that method before but if it works I guess. I would use a band saw for that job and very steady hands. Use the router though of course for the trem route. Plain white is boring...needs a nice some graphic on there or some neon color. :icon_cool

Yeah, but a router for a locking nut installation to me is too risky and open for error. Coping saw is probably even better than using a band saw. More precision and control.

Hey fellas just got in the Kramer baretta Special afew days ago .

It sounds dam good for a $179 guitar !

the stock PU sounds great , no need to replace ..
The neck feels very Good ..

Cons: tunning not good due to the vintage style bridge .
if i dont sell it on the bay , then i will keep it install a floyd rose special on it ;) .
the hard part will be cutting a nut shelf on the neck , i might send out to do .

but its a dam nice geetar ! doesent feel like the real deal , but its good for the $$.

They rock like a mother fucker, will take any pup that you like and are silly-assed cheap for what you get fer yer money

the stock pups suck on these , but as you said , swap the pup of your choice & these things growl !
