Problem with an Esp Ltd ex-50

Hello guys
first of all am a beginner guitar player so i don't know lots of technical stuff
i bought an Esp Ltd Ex-50
i plugged it to my G1xn Zoom then to my Ibanez amp
i started playing but the sound really sucks my ibanez grgr121ex sounds way better than the ltd

is that sound right ? aren't there an unusual sound ?
i don't really know what to say but can u tell if this is how shall it sound or there is a problem or something !

a friend of mine told me that the pick ups height might be too high !

I couldn't get your file to play but the pickups do look to high. Hold the strings down on the last fret and there should be at least 1/8" between the string and the pickups. :thumbs:

And, I would ad, when you're setting the pickups, plug straight into the amp. Adjust them up and down and listen to where it sounds best. Also, don't worry if one side of the pickup is higher than the other. A lot of pickups sound better that way. Once you get the height where it sounds good, then you can fine tune the sound with the screw pole pieces, if need be.

:thumbs: Ok, got to listen to one clip, your guitar pickups suck, there is nothing wrong with anything, buy some new pickups if you like the guitar otherwise trade it for something else.
