Did Eddie actually own a Jackson? I don't remember seeing him with one back then, but who knows. What do you guys think?

Year: Unknown
Manufacturer: Jackson
Model: Eddie Van Halen's 1980's JACKSON Custom
Case: Hard
Color: Custom
Condition: Mint

Eddie Van Halen's 1980's JACKSON Custom Van Halen Electric Guitar #NA. It doesn't really matter if you like David Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar as Van Halen's front man, the truth is that if you came up playing guitar in the 80's & 90's, it's kinda hard not to be an Eddie Van Halen fan. What could be more rare than actually having his one of a kind Jackson Custom guitar?! This guitar is just plain cool and was made for Eddie by Grover Jackson. Whoever said money can't buy coolness, never got an allowance. An ultimate collectible indeed for the ultimate Van Halen fan and collector. The late Dan Martin took this guitar in trade from his friend and customer Edward Van Halen. Also included are (4) Van Halen Guest and All Access lanyards, an autographed 10X8 glossy photo of Dan & Eddie, a Van Halen itinerary and song list, a 1993 Warner Bros. Records Van Halen Promo Shot with Sammy, a Van Halen fan magazine with Eddie dressed in fuchsia (we prefer to blame Valerie for this fashion faux pas), a few Van Halen picks, a large oversized autographed pick, a 5150 strap, a few packs of 5150 strings and a January 2008 St Louis Post-Dispatch newspaper article about the late Dan Martin, his music business and his celebrity clients. Estimated Value: $25,000+. Factory custom fit hard case. Condition: Mint

I've never seen Eddie play a Jackson per se, but he definitely had ties with the charvel/jackson company. I remember seeing that VH guitar in 80's guitar mags.
Even he probably thought it was too cheesy to play live.:icon_lol:

I remember seeing the build pictures for one of those, and it WAS for Eddie
