Hello to all, I must change the pick-up to my Ibanez rg350, replacing them with 3 dimarzio.

BRIDGE: SUPER-DISTORTION;
MIDDLE: HS-2
NECK: PAF pro

I wonder if the connections, which are found in the picture, are right or not???
I await your answers, to know if the links to me made are just. Thank you advance.

As long as the colors are matched up
to the Dimarzio colors, you're good.

WIRE THAT SUCKER UP!

One other thing, do you use the tone control?

But because it is not right??? You say that I should remove the capacitor 331???

No, it's right, but I'd put a better capacitor than the stock one that Ibby uses. A lot of maufacturers use ceramic caps.
YUCK.

If you don't use the tone control, it doesn't matter.:thumbs:

Hello, I make a mistake in links, why the pickup in middle position, when it is connected by only or with that of the bridge or of the neck, has a lower volume compared to that of the bridge position and neck position. I have connected the pickup as in the image:

Do you mean why does it have lower volume when you are using just the single coil in the middle? Single coils have less output than humbuckers, especially compared to a Super Distortion! Try bringing up the single coil until it balances better with the other pickups, or until it gets in your way. You may need to drop the humbuckers down, as well.

Another thing, is I believe when the switch is in the 2 and 4 positions, it is taking two separate coils and using them in parallel, and not series. To my ears, there is a drop in volume when switching to parallel from series. Humbuckers are two coils wired in series.

But, the scheme of how I have mounted is right??? Or should I change pickup central and put it one with an output more???

If it is important for the pickups to be all the same loudness and if adjusting the height of them won't do it then you have to buy different pickups that work together.

You can get used to it and just know when to turn the vol down or up.:thumbs:
