Can you guess what I'm buying on tuesday? Notice I'm posting in the import section, so it's not another WR1 (surprise!).

Wow looks killer man, I love those old USA Warriors with the slant fretboard. What kind is this since this is the import section?

It's a Warrior Pro (Japanese) from 1991. I did hassle the guy to sell me his USA 90's Warrior instead (it has a nice graphic and the same slanted pups/fretboard), but he won't let go of it. :(

May I be the first to suggest you will find something terribly wrong with this otherwise fine axe?
I know you, and hope it isn't so.

May I be the first to suggest you stuff a bag of exploding rice down ya neck? :D
Just checked USPS - it's just arrived in the UK.

The bill may rise a bit. Looking into possibly having the missing corners filled in so the pup routes look original. The holes from where the humbucker was jammed in still need filling too (with 2-part epoxy).

2 fucking months later and it still isn't done. I also need a trem backplate/cover. The 90's plates are apparantly different to current plates. Perhaps I should have a wooden or metal plate made for me?

I sympathize with ya man :icon_sad:...I always say: over quote and over deliver when it comes to customer service...some people just never get IT.
Contact Dave at Frets On The Net and he'll set you up with exactly the trem cover ya need...one of the few people that adheres to the customer service mantra I quote above...he's top notch!

The guy fixing my guitar is ordering a Jackson plate. If it sits flush, then he just drills new holes where the plate rests and the plate stays on. Still waiting on the right screws for the pickups too.
