model 6 neck widths

Please correct me if Im wrong!
The 86 model 6's had a skinnier neck profile then the 87-88 model 6's?
If thats the case, how much thicker did the necks get, was it noticeably thicker?

Since I personally don't own a model 6 (I went the Soloist route), I can tell you what I remember :eusa_thin from many years ago: The early Model 6 does indeed have a thinner and flatter neck compared to the later models. My comparison at the time was to a PRS CE (bolt-on) with their wide/flat neck profile. Although the PRS did feel noticeably wider, the Charvie felt more meaty in my hand.

I've heard a lot of dudes say metaphorically the early Model 6 necks were the Wizard necks of Charvel. :eusa_whis
