So I have not been very active for a long while. Which is sad but I still check up here every so often. I thought I would share a new addition to the family. My Ibanez 8 string.:icon_bigg

Yes, it is a bit excessive but it's pretty fun to play. The neck is (from the side) no thinner than a regular prestige RG. But from the front it is a bit wide but not hard to play.
Here is a Meshuggah cover with it. (May not be everyones cup of tea)

And a collection of riffs I've written on it:

Just to show you guys it in action.

Sweet
I have a 7 string S 7320...
So what is the tuning on the 8 string??

Tuning isn't anything crazy. From low to high it is F#, B, E, A, D, G, B, E. I, however, have all of that tuned down a half step. The low F# is very guttural though... Which is why I love it.

I can only imagine how much the low F# makes. The low B on my 7 string gives my speakers a good workout :icon_lol:
Sounds good on the vids
