Cheap Trick's "Surrender" (I had to call it "cover" on MySpace so they wouldn't take my page down LOL). I was sitting there one day and heard the tune and thought hey why not record my own version and totally butcher it :icon_lol:

So if you hate your eardrums, check it out!

(its the first song that plays. Sorry there's no soloing in it... next time I promise!!! hahahaha)

I will await my punishment and heckling.......... :icon_redf

Adam, I know you've put 80,000 miles of wierd shit on your soul since the Whiskey A Go Go gig a couple of years ago, but what happened to that band?????????

Thanks guys I appreciate it! The Slow Burn song is actually unfinished. It was one I put up just to see what people would think but never finished it. Notice it has zero changes hahah. I guess I should finish her up huh? LOL

Bob, the tone you hear is my #1 Jackson (King V Pro I've had forever and a day) running into my Line 6 POD X3 Live, then into my Apple MacBook Pro (GarageBand to be precise). That's it. Direct line. I used a FocusRite Saffire Firewire audio interface to use for inputs for the laptop too, but that's usually what I use to record. The X3 Live is no joke for recording. I've been trying to perfect my sound and it's getting there I think. I always think it sounds too thin, but I'm trying.

Regarding the band, I'm not sure if you know this or not, but everything you hear there is all me bro. I'm a one man band. I play and record guitars, vocals, keys/piano (when I use it anyway), bass, and I hammer out my own drum tracks as well. The band I was in back then I bailed on. It was too "poppy" for me. I still talk to the singer. Him and I are really good friends, but everything you hear come out on my MySpace page is just me bro. I masturbate on tape hahahaha (for the slow ones out there: I play with myself) :icon_lol:

Thanks again guys! I really appreciate the compliments!!! And Bob, anytime you wanna solo over my shit let me know! I'd be honored!! :notworthy

Sounds great, the vocals are top notch as well. Swedish sleazeband Zan Clan (with zinny zan of Shotgun Messiah fame) did a cover of this one as well :)

Wow. That's an amazing cover. I really like it. One thing that really sounds cool is the vocals with the uber-groovy echo/delay on them. You really nailed that!
