:roflmfao: Here is what the guy says:"Here is a very rare USA made 1988 Ibanez 580B -MH. I have never seen another like it. Two piece center seamed mahogany body with a sorta one of a kind Tele shape."
But you must have seen one before to be looking for it. It is nice Roger. and the price seems good too.:icon_wink

Yeah Jon, definitely a case of the guy not knowing what he had. I don't like Fender Teles so much, but I don't mind the Tele shape at all if it has some shred elements mixed in. They only did these for a year or two, so they are scarce as hell. I wasn't going to grab anything else for awhile.....in fact I'm trying to move 3 or 4 I have now, but I had to make an exception for one of these.......especially at the price.(Just barely won it too, with a bid of 411.99)

It looks homemade.
You're right, never seen that one before.

I noticed it is in Goldsboro, NC.

I know where it is, but it's probably 2 1/2 - 3 hours from me.
I went to college not too far from there.

Did that tele originally have three humbuckers?
It looks like the guy made some pickup rings.

Yeah, I noticed those too. Not sure if these came with various pup configs and/or hardware options. I don't care for the wood bezels though....I figure I'll see if I can remove them without screwing things up.
