Ok, I might have sorted it out. The link above hopefully contains all four songs from the Pilot Error demo. The first two songs are Theater of the gods and Mr. Billy.
Song #3 is a slower tune by the name of Babylon. Same gear as the other two with the addition of a really cheesy acoustic that belonged to our tightwad bassplayer........it blew away an Ovation we brought in though.
Now song #4 has it's ups and downs. I didn't have much time to get everything written, and the lyrics were slapped together...something I just hate. Also, as all the rythmn guitars and vocals were doubled, the heavier guitar part got fucked up somehow, and there's a noticable gap where it's just single tracked....not long, but it bugs me.
Also, I'm not happy at all with my vocal performane on this track.....first time singin' and all. As a result I decided not to include this one on the demo. Having said all that, when I got the CD back from Brian I did like the super extended solo section....shitty ART unit aside. Haha....as I remeber it, this one was just an excuse for guitar wankery to begin with. This one was called Majestc.
Now lets hope the frikkin link works!!

Rog man, can't you just dump them on your soundclick page?
I never had a problem with that site. Otherwise an even easier place to upload files is Ripway.com. I must......hear.......your stuff!

I'm sure Rog was cursing me after my great advice.:icon_lol:
Ubz, on Ripway when you upload the tunes, click to where it says 'your files'
and it'll show the index list. Just right-click the link...copy and paste them over here. When your link shows up here, it should have the name of the file or song. Hope that helps. I only mentioned Soundclick because I know you have an account there.

Thanks Rob......glad to see I got it working. Yeah, I've had the ADAT lying arouind for years, but never had it converted to digital format. The other Soundclick stuff I have is just some things I was screwing around with on my Boss BR 1180 and stuff from a recording I did in the world's worst studio. Stronger material, but brought down by the shit hole we recorded it in.
I'm getting a new computer this week......when I do, I'm cutting back on the flippin' and getting into recording. I got alot of material I want to get done.

Yep, pro gear makes a world of difference.
I think a lot of us are getting inspired to getting back to the sound room.
I only have my Yamaha workstation, but it's good enough for me I guess.
Time to start putting it to use again. Once again, awesome job bro.

Thanks Jon, I swear I almost climbed up on clock tower with a deer rifle trying to get a workable link.
After a thousand or so "look what I just bought" threads, I thought it'd be a good idea to offer some proof that I play em too....LOL!!

Nah....close though. It's a B-24 Liberator. The pilot hit the brakes for some reason during takeoff.........six crewman killed. I've noticed alot of us guitarist types seem to have an interest in WWII aviation. I know I've been fascinated by it for as long as I can remember.
