I'm really developing a severe fondness for these guitars. I scored both of these at a great price.........just under $1,200 for the pair. If anybody hasn't tried one of these yet, do yourself a favor and give em a go.

The one on the left is a Silohuette.....maple board, loaded with three EMG SA's. Beautiful neck, although I gotta lower the action some. I'm not overly fond of the SA's output.....at least as a bridge pup. I'm thinking of either ordering another pickguard in an H-S-S configuration, and dropping an 81 in there, or just doing the 18volt mod. I had a Zion with that setup, and it sounded great.
On the right is an Axis Super Sport. This was somebody's main player....not mint, but not completely trashed either. Playability and sound are through the roof on this one.......seriously, one of those guitars that just feel like "home", for lack of a better word.

I was just in Guitar Center today, and saw both models there. $2,495 for the Axis, and $1,250 or so for the Silo. You should have seen the nasty looks I got from the two drones at the desk when I told them I got both models for under 12 bills.:eusa_danc
