Hello fellow Kramer Heads!
I recently tore out the electronics to my Ferrington to see why no sound when plugged in. I thought the pickup was maybe bad because when I wire a humbucker in it's place all works fine.
Well- what I found is that the pickup saddle made by Shadow seems to actually work, but when I put the string block back in the saddle it won't pick up any sound. Now I know this had a missing piece when I bought it and I put in a Martin piece which fit fine, but being that it is Nylon or whatever, is that why the Shadow won't pick up sound? I hope Vinnie or Jon can answer this for me. Never torn a Ferrington down before.
