I'm telling ya, I'm really starting to love Craigslist. Just got this a half hour ago, a Peavey Wolfgang......pretty damn cheaply too I might add. I love the smell of financial desperation in the morning.....it smells like NGD's:eusa_danc:icon_lol:

Thanks Ben. I gotta get the locking parts for the nut and hunt up a bar, but after playing it for an hour or so last night, I see the appeal of these things. Loving the shorter scale. The stock pups really sound great too.

Also, this one here seems to be somewhat of a weird one. It's a USA Special, but it has binding on the body. Anyone know anymore details on these?

Sorry Rog,
they may be nice guitars,
but those things are ugly.:icon_lol:

I've had many people tell me
that the Wolfie was the most comfortable
playing neck they'd ever tried.

They have a short string scale? :eusa_thin

Looks wise, it kinda reminds me of the Ibanez Ghostrider in a way...real compact and solid. As for the neck.....yeah, while being baseball bat feeling in a way, it's really very comfortable.....radical departure from the wide/flat Wizard necks.

They do indeed have a shortscale......something I'm growing to appreciate alot lately.

The funny thing is, I don't like the Wolfie shape,
but I like the Music Man shape.:eusa_danc

Thanks Nathan, I believe it's a US model. This is my first go around with the Wolfies, and I gotta say I love em. Best stock bridge pup ever, and the neck is just outstanding. I might flip it, but not until I have another one in it's place.

My collection is strewn with redundancy.....lotta 25.5" scale superstrats. This one here's a different deal though. I really wanna score an EBMM Silohuette next. I figure they're somewhat similar to the Wolfgang.

Very nice!!
I really like the size and shape of those and the MM's too. Even the ODP version is cool when you spend a little on an upper scale model.
That's sweet dude.

Uberthal your Wolfgang has binding because it is a special Deluxe. If it was not balck it would have a flamed maple cap.But since it has no cap they put the binding on it as an upgrade real nice, and it is US made. If you ever want to sell or flip it ring me up.

Uber sorry to disappoint you man but its a 25,5 scale.
I'm 100% sure.

Great neck indeed, its full on the upper side and thin on the bottom. Its like best of both worlds.
I think its has the same profile like the old Kramer beaks. At least this is what Eddie believes.
