Bros,

I've ordered a custom axe from Mitch. Here are the specs:

Unchained quilt top in ruby red w/matching headstock
Adding a neck single pickup route
Seymour Duncan TB-6 (Floyd spaced)
Seymour Duncan Hotrails pickup
Original Floyd Rose tremolo upgrade
Details: Single volume push-pull/Gold hardware/Set-up in E Flat with EB Slinky 10-46's

Let's just say the price is a little more than what I just paid for my Charvel.

Looking forward to it! :D

Haha. Even though the pay is pure shit, I've been saving forever. And I put my entire bonus check into savings. Not even gonna touch it...just let it grow.

I cannot wait to get this axe...I'm probably going to shit myself when I play it the first time.

I was supposed to leave May 3rd, that got pushed back to May 11th. Now that the Taliban have decided to start shooting at the civilians bringing us supplies to my COP, now all air assets require an armed escort...that means mail, ammunition, food, fuel, water...everything. And that also means that some Private going home on leave has just been pushed to the bottom of the priorities barrel.

I'll believe I'm going home on mid-tour leave once I'm actually home in Savannah, GA.

As for leaving Afghanistan...we roll out of here January 2010. I'm currently working on securing orders to return to RIP following this deployment. If that falls through, my Platoon Leader and Platoon Sergeant both have been talking to me about going to Ranger School after we get back. Either way, I'll be buse once I get back. So as for actually PLAYING the Mean Street...maybe next summer. :icon_lol:

Dude must be seriously busy.

He's fuckin swamped. Most of that time is for the paint job more than anything. As for physical construction, he should be done at the end of next week. Just painting it is going to take a long time and after that just a setup and off it goes.

Thanks for the review man! I'm surprised the cost was so reasonable, custom made stuff is always expensive lol. Also, that blue charvel is gorgeous also. I like the fire-and-ice thing, both with gold hardware :icon_cool
