Bros,

I swung by a local guitar shop to scope out some Jackson's when I noticed they had a wall of the brand new USA Charvel's. I picked up one, started jamming, then picked up the one I now own.

Each one felt a little different. This axe's neck is super flat on the back and rail thin. And they're tung oiled, too...so smooth.

I bought an ATA approved Fender molded case with it. It comes with a gig bag, Floyd bar, allen wrench holder (not mounted, though...WTF?!?), and Dunlop straplocks. The action is very low and the neck feels amazing.

The pickups in the USA So Cal are DiMarzio Tone Zone in the bridge and an Evolution in the neck. Sounds great.

I also traded in my Peavey Vypyr. It was giving me a lot of trouble and was cutting off when I was playing, so I brought it back and exchanged it for a Bandit 112, which is a fantastic practice amp. I'm uploading a vid of me playing it, just trying to get it to upload! I'll edit once it unfucks itself.

Also, I grabbed a Boss Chorus pedal and MXR Carbon Copy delay to throw in the loop. Both sound fantastic.

Here are pics. Enjoy.

Yeah, the black on black looks good.
If it was a white one, that would be different.

David, if yours plays as well as that DeMartini that I played a couple of months ago, that thing absolutely smokes!

No, this one's a keeper. It plays like freakin butter!

Eric,

It's damn clean and the pups were a great choice for this axe. Real versatile and it just roars when you want it to.

John,

Money doesn't pour out of my ass, it just pours into my bank account. :icon_wink And it plays just like every other USA Charvel, just cheaper. The best thing is the neck on it...it just feels amazing.
