Bros,

I backdoored an Agile PS-924WE from...get this...a seller in Anchorage, Alaska. Perfect price, too...$289. It's an Amber Flame PRS copy with an ebony fretboard, Grover tuners, Wilkinson tremolo, 1/2" bookmatched maple top, and a coil-tap switch. Fantastic value...look at how thick the top is and that huge slab of ebony! Very happy!

Only planned upgrades are an Earvana nut, GraphTech saddles, and Seymour Duncan pups...may even go active with the Blackouts, not sure yet. For cosmetic purposes, I might send it off and have the inlays replaced with abalone dots.

These gutiars DESTROY the PRS SE series. These are archtop and unlike the SE guitars, these tops aren't veneers...they're chunks of fucking maple.

I'm happy.

Thanks a lot, Alex. I'm going to see how the living conditions in the barracks are, that'll determine whether I'm getting a new POD X3 to record with or an actual amp. But let me knock the rust off and I'll post some shit. :thumbs:

Check out www.rondomusic.com and go to the last page of Electric Guitars to see the good shit. Everything else is typical budget stuff, but everything from their 3000 series and up are great quality.

The thing is, I don't know if my barracks will be able to accomodate a full-size amp. If it can, the guy I bought this guitar from has a Mesa/Boogie Lonestar Special 1x12 combo I'm gonna snag. If I can't have an amp, then I'm going to get a POD X3 and run it into my laptop.
