Really Gasing for Ibanez S probably an S470.

Just wondering whats the main differences between the 370, 470, or 520??
Are the bodies slimmer on the 520?
Are the ZRs trems any good?

right now i dont know whats goin on with the S quality control...it seems lke some 370's are comming out better than the 520's...but the only differences are pick ups really...

the bodies are the same on all models

ZR trems are one of the easiest trems to set up, and use, and they stay in tune just as well as any high end trem out there...

over all S series are great guitars...probably one of the most versatile out there

The best S Series is the S540LTD made in Japan circa 1990s.

Yeah i read that some where, I think it was on the JEM forum. Only thing is i can only seam to find the stained black model of 370, which i hate the look off.

I'd like to check out oune of those ZR trems. Unfortunately, there goes Ibanez trying to reinvent the wheel.:whatever:

I guess that's where they lose me. Apparently it's a very good trem, but I'm still partial to the 'ol standard lo-pros and edge versions. Too much evolution. :icon_lol:

S-series are sweet guitars. Light weight, cool looking and easy to play. I prefer the MIJ models though fo sho. Like Mapleshredder says, early to mid 90's 540's are hard to beat. I had a '96 540FM trans green with the gold hardware. One of the dozens of gems I let go.
