Hey guys, here's the heads up on my JS 1000 ('98 I believe) I snagged off evilbay. For awhile I thought it wasn't gonna show up because of poor communication from seller, plus no tracking # until last night. Pheeew! But she arrived today in one piece and all is good. At least the dude gave an excellent description of it, and I'm blown away how mint this baby is. Needs a little tweaking on the action...but for the most part, plays amazingly, plus I got a steal on it.

EDIT: slapped an extra pic on for good measure. My camera's a piece of shit, sorry.

I'm not a huge fan of alpine white guitars aging to a creamish color, but it's just the nature of the beast. I'll look at it as something close to being reminiscent of the Kramer Beretta I never had. :icon_lol:

RSB, I actually stumbled on this badboy by accident. It wasn't even listed in the JS page on ebay. As of now it's a keeper, BUT you'll be the first in line fo sho.

Not me, that's the only Ibanez
that I would consider buying.
I love those things!

Maybe it's because it doesn't
feel like an Ibanez. :icon_cool

I didn't know the white yellowed like that.
I figured they stayed bright white (the best color on them)

I think the yeller has to do with the aging lacquer?
THanks for posting nazz someone was telling me about the body shape yesterday and you saved me looking it up :icon_lol:

That's the thing, Ibanez doesn't use lacquer.
Like most companies, they use poly.

One of my friends has a 60s style strat that was olympic white when he bought it, but now the finish is starting to get yellow. Getting the Yngwie vibe now. :icon_cool

Yep, It doesn't have to a nitro lacquer. White just commonly loses it's "whiteness" with any clear coat. But does give the guitar some character. Thanks for the kind words guys.

Thanx T. After some minor adjustments and a new string change, it plays like buttah. Can really bend the notes easier and it gets that spacy satch tone on the neck pup. Next step is to dip er in molten chrome............:eusa_thin...............nah! I'll just buy one for 15 grand.:crazy1:
