How do those Kramer Les Pauls play? The last few times I've seen them on the bay the looked like people were paying quite a bit of cash for them. Finish quality looks excellent too. Anyone got one? I've been wanting a paul lately.

I've got one and I really like it. I'm not much of a Les Paul guy but it really sounds good and the quality is top notch. I think it's better than the $2k Paul that I looked at in GC the other day.

I had (I'm an idiot) both an '04 Standard and an '06 Custom. Both played great. But, the '04 played WAY nicer. So close to a Gibson Studio than the Custom. The '04 was Korean made while the Custom was made in Indonesia. Both guitars were top notch as far finish is concerned. Overall I liked the '04 Standard more. For the prices these are fetching lately I would just nab a Burny instead.

Yup, I've got the earlier one, love it, and I did try a blow out one and there is no comparison.

I have a mint condition 2004 Korean-made Standard in Cherryburst. It hasn't seen much playing time of late, and I could be convinced to let it go, especially if anyone wanted to trade for a vintage Focus.

Anyone interested? If so, PM me! :eusa_whis

I'll have to bring my les paul up there some time, and let you check it out.
I've still got a couple of things to work out on it.

And, no, it's not that heavy for a Les Paul.
It only weighs nine pounds.

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to get one. Finish wise, they have any LP I've ever seen beat to hell. The Crazy flamed tops and all that binding. I'm usually not a much for that stuff, but I see it on those and love it.

Yes! First off we always need another axe and then to actually have a plan for one makes the quest even sweeter.:icon_bigg
You will like one without a doubt, there are always times when a Paul just fits the bill.:eusa_danc

After doing some research, I learned that Kramer actually has two LP models. The Standard and the Custom. But the Custom, which is the one with the nice top and all of the binding and inlays, is the newer model. I hope you guys aren't telling me the old standards play better than the one I want. Which is the flashy one!:icon_sad:
This is what I'm looking for.

Oh yes, they made the custom. I've had to whore her up a bit.

This has a one piece drop top, I changed out the pickups and you can see it is a thick top, not the veneer on the later ones.

Well I have one of the later ones and I always hear guys talking about what a difference there is in quality and all I can say is if the older ones are better, then they should kick the shit out of any Gibson out there because Mine is a beast!! it has a thick top not a thin veneer and it was made in indonesia I think, the quality in material and craftmanship is top notch in my book I have seen more pricey shit hanging in GC that couldnt come close to the detail in this one. I have no clue what the P/Us are but thru my line six if I want to jam some AC/DC this is the one for me it nails it!!!
I have the ebony custom but would love to get a amber custom
Bruce?? wanna trade straight up??:eusa_whis:eusa_whis

I wouldn't say all that, but i'm partial to a good Les Paul.
It probably depends on what you're playing on it, as well.
