sorry for the duplicate posts on all these forums, but I have to show this baby off....

Just got this in...MINT, and I mean MINT (looks like NOS) 91 Rg-565

sounds amazing, and a great deal to boot.

Really excited about this one, these 565's are becoming my favorite Ibanez.

enjoy...

If Ibanez really wanted to knock one out of the park,
they should strongly consider reissuing the RG 565.

I agree, it would definately compete against the BC Rich Gunslinger retro reissues out now.

Yup, no contest for me really. Those 565's are killer guitars, this one here is particularly sweet.

This is exactly why Ibanez pisses me off. They had the whole shred guitar thing down cold.......way ahead of anyone else, at least in my opinion. Now look at the pedestrian level crap they produce. To be fair though, they're not alone.....all the great companies have gone this way to one degree or another.......ESP,Kramer,Gibson, etc.

Rant over.......sweet guitar though Brian. I'll give ya a super clean G&L USA Legacy for it......LOL!!

To add insult to injury, the beauty of reintroducing the 565 now would be that it is different enough to make people look twice and take notice, yet familiar enough that you know it's an Ibanez.
I'm not really crazy about the RG series, even the ones back in the day. I always gravitated to the S and R series, but i'd love to pick one of those up.

Yup, and then imagine if they went ahead and put em out with their classic neon colors too....Roadflare Red, Desert Yellow, Loch Ness Green, and Neon Pink. My God, they'd slay every other manufacturer out there right now!!

Another hang up I had about Ibanez
was those little ruler thin necks.

That's the mintiest fresh 565 I've seen for quite some time. One of the more underrated RG's in the archives. Great score!

I've had some Ibby's in the past and my last was a 560 or 70 I believe. Anyway, the trems on those things are top notch and in my book, right up there if not better than the OFR's.

Nice looking lumber and good score.
