Well,I've had this for a rew days now,and I figured I'd put up some more pics and share my impressions about this one.

I've gotta say that although I have some other really nice axes, nothing else I have now,or have had in the past really quite measures up to this one,and this before I've had a chance to get it tweaked. When I got it the B and E string were fretting out badly from the 15th fret up. I raised the bridge and alleviated the problem...although the action is a bit higher than I'd prefer right now. I'll bring it to the tech next week if I get a chance. Having said that though,it's not that it's too high to be considered playable or anything..I just like the action down to the breaking point.

I do gotta say,if anyone is looking for a high quality guitar and can afford it,do yourself a favor and give one of these a try. The tone I get out of this thing is so far above anything else,it's unbelievable!!! The harmonics just explode out of this one....and not in the tinny, biting down on tin foil kina way either. The neck dual rail single is awesome as well......a really cool Strat meets humbucker kinda thing. Combining them both in the middle position sounds great too. When I get this one tweaked I don't think I'll ever be able to put it down......really,this thing is THAT good!!

Nice! not enough green guitars out there.
I really like the carve on the back of the body, I have a body like that at home, super comfy!

They sure are sweet...Rio Grande is run by Robin...
My Medleys came with SDs but later models often had the RGs

That's why I was asking. It's all Bart Wittrock's stuff.
I've seen a lot of them with SDs, but I'd seen some with RGs.

Actually,I saw on the Robin web site that the bridge pup in this one is a Muy Grande. I had one of the Japanese/ESP made ones that had the regular Rio Grande in it,and I wasn't really all that impressed with it. Yhis one here is much better sounding......much more dynamic.

Really, the only Robin I ever wanted
was a Machete.

The bodies look weird on the strat style to me.
