I think the better way to introduce myself is showing my music/equipments.
Tell me what you think about them .
My samples were recorded with a crap zoom G2,except for triaxis tests.
If you like tell me
If not tell me too :icon_wink

Hi dude.
It depends on what you want or need.
I play fron Bon Jovi and Journey to Dream Theater.
Mesa gives me any tone I want, from awsome cleans to brutal distortion.
I love mesas :notworthy

Sweet! I dig the tunes too! Nice playing. I'm thinking about running a stereo setup. 2 preamps into 1 poweramp then into a stereo 4x12. Haven't decided on an f/x processor yet. The Gmajor is looking tempting, but I'm still looking for a Rocktron Replifex.

11-12-2007, 02:51 PM
Haven't had the opportunity to check one of them out. I'm concentrating on what preamps I want first. Then I'll worry about f/x. I've got my choices narrowed down to about 7. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the Randall RT 2/50 for a power amp. I like the idea of it being midi switchable and one side being EL34 and the other being 6L6.

That is a great tone. I need to ask you. Is that going direct or mic'd? Just curious as to how you got that tone. I am not sure what you called it, but it was the one that was like "Pull me Under". How was that tone recorded? Thanks dooder!

TRIAXIS test.
Don't you know what TRIAXIS is ???
sure sm57 .No direct recording.
MrScary
11-13-2007, 06:48 PM
I am sorry. I thought for sure that there were "recording outputs" on the back of that mutha. Are you sure that they are not there? And yes...I know what a TRIAXIS is.
Treva
11-13-2007, 07:23 PM
sorry but I didn't get that.
What is mutha and why did you think it was direct recording ?
MrScary
11-13-2007, 07:33 PM
Can you not assume if it says "Recording out" that it would be...perhaps direct recording out? If that is not it than what exactly are those outputs for? And I am sorry...from now on I will use the queens English... mutha = Mother.
Are you assuming I am an idiot for asking a legitimate question? What appears to be the problem here?
Eric
Treva
11-13-2007, 07:35 PM
You will be an idiot if you can't notice that english isn't my first language so sometimes I will miss the point.
I still can't understand what are you talking about but I'm trying !

I said NO direct recording.I think it means mic'd !
MrScary
11-13-2007, 07:41 PM
Did not look to see where you are from. I meant that there are recording outputs on the back of that TRIAXIS. What are they for? I thought that they were for direct recording. If that is what those outputs are for, then my question should make sense.
Sure 57. Got it. Sorry I asked.

It has recording outputs but it's good only when you can't use it loud,if you are recording at night they are good.
Nothing is better than mic'd.
I think now we are talking the same language Lol

Well Hi there bad ENTITY. I'm 1 of the 3 local poltergeist you have to answer to when things get out of hand. :icon_wink But I usually only have to ban spammers so it's all good. Again, welcome to the forum. You're tunes are pretty slick. I just have to ask, are you male or female?

Male.
Thanks for your nice words.
Can't we spamm here ?
I mean we cannot have fun here !!!
Or I misunderstood the spamm term !
RockStringBender
11-14-2007, 02:39 PM
Spam- advertising, usually in bulk email or forum post format
Spammer- person who distributes spam
Bad Entity- fresh fun at shredguitars
ShredGuitars- place were many bad entities gather to talk about music, gear, girls eating shit and The Normal People that we don't understand

what is a triaxis?
Treva
11-14-2007, 02:53 PM
TREVA in brazil means DARKNESS.
I'm selling my triaxis and I will buy a rectifier recording preamp.
I am using triaxis since 1994.
I need new blood and today I only use 3 tones
1 clean
2 crunch
3 solo
Crunch must be VERY heavy.
Triaxis is really heavy but with more mids.Rectifier is more scooped.
I can't post more tones because I already took it out of my rack, sorry.

That's cool. I've been looking at the recto recording pre's too. I figure if I were to get both I could run both into a 2:90 and cover the entire Mesa spectrum.

Be nice! That's rule #1 around here, so just remember that and everyone will have fun, no matter what language you speak  Everyone knows how to use Google, but sometimes it's good to hear from guitar players here who have used such equipment... like yourself :icon_wink
I've personally used the Triaxis back when they came out. I'm not a tube lover but wow the Triaxis kicked my ass. It's a wondeful preamp in my opinion. Expensive but well worth the money.
Welcome to the forum. Remember what I said!

Dude! were/are you a King Diamond fan??? Your playing reminds me of Andy Laroque :thumbs:
Only one issue dude finish the tune title "new" that was killer!!
I was able to listen to some of the solo stuff and was diggin that too.
Are you playing all of it meaning drum, sing, ect?
I am glad so many memebers post there stuff here, it gives me a kick in the ass to pick up and jam more instead of learning more cover tunes.

wow really thanks eric.
No I don't like diamond,I always be more pink floyd, marillion, dream theater and glam rock like bon jovi, skid row etc.
That's my band in songs with vocals ,I only play guitars. Our bass player is singing cause we can't find a singer who can sing without those metal cliches wich we hate.We want a pop singer WITH a good technique just like Labrie(dream theater). He sings any style but without cliches.
Again thanks for your nice words, good people here.Even if you hated all my stuff,it doesn't matter, sincere opinions is all I ever want.

I understand for teenagers glam sounds strange just like emo sounds bad to me however the musicians in glam were the best but the musicians in emo are crap !!!
