I got ahold of an old MIA Peavey Predator yesterday. After doing a bit of basic setup work, this thing is awesome! You can get them for $100 or less on ebay all day long.... anybody who needs a good Strat really needs to check one out.

I'm really surprised nobody else is into these. I've sanded the half-inch layer of plastic off the back of the neck, oiled it, and it's smokin. The tuners are pretty much crap, but aside from that, I'm super happy.

yes I agree. I had an "older" single humbucker model with a pointy droopy headstock that was a super-comfortable, great player. The neck was awesome- chunky but not fat.
I also like dthe later 24 fret Tracers. Were they 24.75 or 25.5 scale, those 24 fret Tracers?

Agreed. I had a custom w/ reverse headstock and the h/s config... trying to buy it back now.
