Hey, I am new to the Forum, as well as kramer guitars. Right now the only Kramer guitar that I have is a kramer Focus 3000 guitar that just shreds. I don't think its pick up is original(duncan JB in there), but it still rocks. I was thinking of getting a kramer american guitar. There are some pretty sweet Pacer custom 1's on ebay right now. Are they good guitars? Is there a better kramer guitar for a noob? whats a fair price to pay for one? Keep on shredding \m/ phil \m/

First of all, welcome to the forum. Yes, Kramer Pacer Custom 1 are great guitars. A fair price I think would be in the $350-$450 range. As far as Pacers go though I think the Pacer Imperial is a much better guitar (and I own one of those too). I currently own 5 Kramer American guitars. The Nightswan and Barettas are my personal favorites.

Welcome dude! Stick around tons of cool info and people here. As for your question Pacers are cool I own a PC2and love it, The Imperial looks awesome too (as Jeff mentions) and is on my list to get one day.
Focus are cool guitars, great quality for the $.

Welcome to ShredGuitars, man!! :icon_bigg

The Focus 3000s were great guitars for the money and a great starter guitar to the world of Kramers, but I think you will find the American models to be even better! A Pacer Custom I is a great guitar as well. I am building a Custom II right now. Same guitar but a little different config as far as electronics go. I don't think you can go wrong with one personally. Like Jeff said too.. Nightswans and Barettas are damn sweet, but will cost you a little more. Well worth it though :icon_wink

Hey guys, thanks for quick response. I will most definetly be sticking around here, from all the posts I have read it looks like you guys have a really cool and knowlegable community set up here(plus a lot of cool guitars for me to look at and drool over).

any way,I found this on ebay

It looks like its a little bit overpriced compared to what you guys said they were worth, but its so kick ass. What do you guys think about her?

Oh, and is it true that PC1's come stock with duncan pickups?
Thanks, Phil

Yes, duncan JB pups came stock on the pc1 guitar. I'd go no more than about $400 on that pinky pc1 though. If the seller does not get that price, he may re-list it at a lower price. Ya never know with Ebay. :icon_wink That is what I sold my pink Pacer Custom 1 for and it had a maple fretboard too. :drool2:

yeah, I thought 499 was way to high for a starting bid. How do you guys feel about the Pacer Delux model? that guitar looks pretty smokin too. Do you guys know anywhere else to buy vintage kramer Pacers online besides ebay? the only other place I have found is JC guitars, and it doesnt look like he has any PC1's in stock right now.arrgh...I hate GAS so much.

Welcome! Ebay is pretty much your best bet to find Kramers. Check out the classifieds here, what you are looking for might pop up soon. By the way, I had a PCI body for sale:icon_wink
