I've had this for a while but I finally found some time to take some photos:

It's got a licensed Floyd but you really need a locking nut (which Carvin doesn't typically do) for it to stay in tune properly...locking tuners aren't enough in my opinion. Still though it's a pretty nice 7-string that I picked up fairly cheap.

Tony MacAlpine plays those guitars. I love those alot (along with the California Carved Tops). Nice axe. :thumbs:

Agreed! I hunted down Maximum Security on eBay and got to talk to him after a Vai show back in July last year. He's a really nice and helpful guy to talk with. All of Vai's band are that way, actually. Wait after a show to meet them if you guys ever get the chance.
