I have played out with it before... it's about the quality of an Epiphone... won't replace the Kramer Pacers... but fun and playable. :eusa_danc

BASSwood - you know like the fish bass (not the musical instrument) - so he said probably SHARKwood because it was in the shape of a shark...

I thought that was pretty funny! :roll:

Anyway... the guitar is probably basswood or poplar. :thumbs:
