:drool2: I MUST have it! Drop in some DiMarzio Evolution's and that's basically the Ibanez I've been waiting for. I wish it was a Prestige model, but we can't all get what we want! That Trans Blue is just :drool2:

(If the pics don't work...just follow this link (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ibanez-RG4EXQM1-Quilted-Maple-Top-Electric-Guitar?sku=519785).

I like that a lot. I can't tell which bridge it is though, probably the TRS one though since it is an RG series.

On a similar note, I just can't bring myself to buy a prestige series since they don't have the checkmark logo. Why hell would they get rid of that? The prestige logo looks horrible

I believe it is one of the cheap trems on that one. Too bad they don't do that blue quilt top with a maple board and gold hardware. That would look very nice.

I second that motion!

I actually think it's an Edge III...same as my RG. Not a bad trem at all, just not as good as an Edge. I honestly don't care, I'd just block it and call it a day. Whatever motivated Ibanez to make them needs to move this to the Prestige line with DiMarzio's from the factory and an Edge Pro. Then they'd have a freakin gold mine.

Ibanez necks (even non-Prestige) are the best. NOTHING feels as good as those, IMHO.

There is a review on Harmony Central that says the neck on this one is a lot thicker than a normal Ibanez neck. Anyone know if that's true or not?

It's a Wizard II which is still fuckin THIN. It's about as thin as a Jackson neck, just really flat on the back (it feels like a square). It doesn't sound comfy but they feel great. So easy to play those things.

Have you played one of the newer SZs? They've got this neck that feels like a cross between a Wizard and a 60's Gibson. It's unbelievable.

Nah, but I've played a handful of S's and they are AWESOME. Thin, but very round. I just didn't like the 22 frets...kind of a turn-off to me.

Just to say that this "quilt top" is NOT a quilt top, it's a veneer, probably about 1mm thick. This is a cheap guitar trying to look more expensive than it is.
