Congratulations on your first successful usage of the term "gassing" now that you know what it means, bro! :icon_lol:

I'm really starting to like the Wave (white one)

I miss my ironbird alot! A friend that bought it last Dec. just now started playing it:icon_eek:

I still have the mock body in yellow and will be building a neck for it too. Most likely it will get the trad. headstock with the 3+3 tuners.

Ben when it comes to riches buy old ones! there are awesome, the early imports are the best!
below the bich is a 84, the warlock is a 96, and the iron bird is a 87

That Beast is...well...a BEAST. I love how you gave it natural bevels. :drool2:

I can't accept any BC Rich without the good pointy headstock...well, maybe the old ones with the "R" logo too. I DESPISE the widow headstock and I really don't care for the one on the V.

I was watching a live Dio video with Craig Goldy on guitar, and ever since that Ive wanted a Warlock like your 96

I feel the same way on the widow I can't stand it. The one on the V sucks too. When Jr designed it he should of left the in line pointy on it like the old Kerry king one. I plan on building a new neck (pointy)for the V still figuring out if I want diamond inlays or coffin/spear inlays. But it will be bound ebony:thumbs:

Dude... damn you for gassing!! Now I am too! I came across this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200034879199) on eBay. I'm guessing it's a lower line guitar judging by the price... but goddamn that neck joint is INSANE looking!!! It's also a mahogany body with maple neck and ebony fretboard. Very very sweet V. The only thing I hate is that godawful heastock. Dracula himself designed it from what I've heard :eusa_danc

but seriously... check out that neck joint! I wonder what the profile on that neck is? The only thing (other than the headstock) that's kept me away from them since I was a kid was their neck profiles. Every Rich I've played has had a baseball bat sawed in half, had a fretboard glued to it, and stuck to the body as a neck. Way to big for me. If this has a thin profile neck, I'm all over it LOL.

Yeah that new this year. Its called the IT Series (invisibolt technology)
So it's a bolt on its just hidden, under the pick ups I think? I haven't checked one out, but people seem to like them which is a good sign.

I've played a couple of imports in stores over the last couple of years, and it seems they've changed the necks compared to what you are talking about Adam. These neck were rather thin & WIDE. I think the nut was 1 3/4" or 1 7/8". They felt much wider than anything else in the store! I acutally liked the wide nut.
Also, the fretboard seemed flatter to me, even moreso than the Jacksons.
It could have been because the nut width was wide.
